How ResolveTM Produces Smoother Skin
ResolveTM is the world’s first Picosecond Holographic Fractional Laser system designed for facial rejuvenation. Picosecond means a trillionth of a second, the speed is important as the laser generates photomechanical energy. This means the laser creates injury with very little heat. Resolve can be used on all skin types even people those prone to melasma and other hyper-pigmentation conditions. The laser is holographic because the hundreds of thousands laser pinpoints are focused beneath the epidermal layer.
This revolutionary technology delivers the laser energy under epidermis and into the dermal layer where the most effective collagen and elastin can occur. This is the same method used to make the 3D images inside crystals without damaging the surface of the crystal.
Watch the video below to see how Resolve™ produces Laser Induced Optical Breakdown (LIOB) with out doing any damage to the surface layer:
As laser energy travels in straight line, normally fractional lasers exert most of their energy (10-70%) on the epidermis before it penetrates into the dermis. This is not the case with ResolveTM. The holographic optics generate laser energy at such a fast speed Laser Induced Optical Breakdown (LIOB) is created and focused at a depth under the epidermis.
The majority of the energy is focused in the dermis, leaving the epidermis intact. Plasma is created and the injury triggers a process of repair, where new cells are recruited from the undamaged sections to repair the tissue and produce new collagen and elastin.
The ResolveTM laser is ‘fractionated’ – applied to the skin in a grid pattern – dividing the energy into hundreds of thousands of columns per square inch that produce controlled microscopic injury in the dermis. The unaffected tissue between the columns of ablated tissue ensures rapid healing and lowers risks.
The dermis is stimulated to produce collagen in the whole area where the energy is applied. The collagen placement then causes skin tightening and new skin cells are produce.
The end result is younger and more taut appearance in the skin. Pigmentation is cleared. Texture of the skin is smoother.
