What is Facial Rejuvenation?

Facial rejuvenation (facial resurfacing) is a cosmetic procedure to enhance or restore the texture on your skin. There are many cosmetic procedures that fall under facial rejuvenation, both surgical and non-surgical. The goal of all procedures is the same, to make you appear more youthful. Some of the signs of ageing we can assist you with are:

  • Fine Lines and Fine Wrinkles
  • Acne & Acne Scars
  • Stretch Marks
  • Pigmented lesions
  • Post- Surgery Scars
  • Enlarge Pores (orange peel skin)
  • Textural irregularities caused by excessive sun exposure

Resolve vs Fraxel Re:Pair Comparison

Resolve vs Fraxel RePair

In the past 10 years Fraxel Re:Pair was the only choice for laser facial rejuvenation. Fraxel Re:Pair is a fractionate ablative Co2 laser that effectively removes the epidermal layer. While this stimulates new skin production the downtime is long, the risks of infection is high and local anesthetic is required to manage the pain. Resolve is the breakthrough technology that creates the same controlled damage to stimulate new skin with no downtime, no risks and no pain. This is a treatment that can be performed and you can return to work or a normal life immediately.

FRAXEL WARNING: Images of Fraxal Re:Pair Downtime 7-10 days

Fraxal RePair downtime

The benefit of Resolve Rejuvenation is there is no downtime. The redness after a Resolve treatment only last 12 hours compared to 7-10 days downtime with FRAXEL.

Benefits of Facial Rejuvenation With ResolveTM

  • No epidermal damage = NO DOWNTIME
  • No pain
  • Skin contouring through reconstruction of collagen and elastin
  • As effective as Fraxel Re:Pair
  • Natural results in collagen reconstruction vs artificial fillers
  • Less expensive than surgery and fillers
  • Accumulative results
  • Safe of all skin types

ResolveTM True Photo-acoustic Energy

Depth holographic ResolveTM is the world’s first Picosecond Holographic Fractional Laser system designed for facial rejuvenation. Picosecond means a trillionth of a second, the speed is important as the laser generates photo-acoustic energy. This means the laser creates injury with very little heat.

Resolve can be used on all skin types even people those prone to melasma and other hyper-pigmentation conditions. The laser is holographic because the hundreds of thousands laser pinpoints are focused beneath the epidermal layer.

This revolutionary technology delivers the laser energy under epidermis and into the dermal layer where the most effective collagen and elastin can occur. This is the same method used to make the 3D images inside crystals without damaging the surface of the crystal.

Watch the video below to see how Resolve™ produces Laser Induced Optical Breakdown (LIOB) without damaging the surface layer:

Holographic Optics

Resolve generates neocollagenesis via Laser Induced Optical Breakdown (LIOB) As laser energy travels in straight line, normally fractional lasers exert most of their energy (10-70%) on the epidermis before it penetrates into the dermis. This is not the case with ResolveTM.

The holographic optics generate laser energy at such a fast speed Laser Induced Optical Breakdown (LIOB) is created and focused at a depth under the epidermis. The majority of the energy is focused in the dermis, leaving the epidermis intact.

Plasma is created and the injury triggers a process of repair, where new cells are recruited from the undamaged sections to repair the tissue and produce new collagen and elastin.

Fractionated Laser

The first picosecond laser with holographic fractional technology The ResolveTM laser is ‘fractionated’ – applied to the skin in a grid pattern – dividing the energy into 100,000’s of columns per square inch that produce controlled microscopic injury in the dermis.

The unaffected tissue between the columns of ablated tissue ensures rapid healing and lowers risks. The dermis is stimulated to produce collagen in the whole area where the energy is applied. The collagen placement then causes skin tightening and new skin cells are produce.

The end result is younger and more taut appearance in the skin. Pigmentation is cleared. Texture of the skin is smoother.
